Sketches, random stuff. Top-right is a view from sitting in front of the Spyhouse on Hennepin. The coffee-lady was inspired by thoughts of coffee while sitting inside Spyhouse.
Further in-progress.. I feel like with anything I make, form and shading are things I still need to spend a lot of careful time on. Things like this are good practice.
still figuring out the shape (I know, kind of already posted this a few times). I kind of like it being messier and looser.. (also, the shadows on her look different on my PC vs. my Mac, so I will be adjusting those)
Another one with the Cranberries singer (in-progress). Working on shading practice, using a Pastel Photoshop brush. Gonna make some sharper edges/lines, too.
Guy wondering where his sunglasses are, based off of reference photo here: http://tigg-stock.deviantart.com/art/London-Folk-11-89253757 (and also http://randomactscreative.com/ ). Drawn in Photoshop, with a Monoprice tablet.
Laughing guy, maybe kind of creepy looking, the way I drew him for now; and the fellow I drew from before, playing with color and shapes to put around him. Re-posting my people line drawings, to be separate from the Dolores O’ Riordan illustration. Reference photos used: http://tigg-stock.deviantart.com/art/Beamish-Folk-24-101084760 and http://tigg-stock.deviantart.com/art/Beamish-Folk-26-101085300 (and connected to http://randomactscreative.com/ )
Dolores O’Riordan, working out a possible background shape. Tonight I felt like I got my gears going again in my head, and brushed away some cobwebs in my art-brain..I know I still need to keep my momentum going though, and try a hundred (or more) different tweaks, edits, etc. and to keep making stuff in general.
